Pros & Cons
Pros
I’m not super tech savvy, and this made hooking up to my external monitors so easy. The instruction booklet is also great and easy to understand, which is rare.
Cons
I got this as it promised to make a macbook air work with two external monitors, it doesn't. Does not deliver on what was promised. It doesn't work with an external monitor.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to set up and additional monitors for easier work.
Works exactly as i hoped it would, for my purposes (general work use, not gaming).
I have the latest macbook air 15in w/m2 chip and was disappointed to hear it did not natively support dual monitors.
It turns out that the new macbook air only supports connecting to one monitor unless you have an external hard drive like this!
Price
I was hesitant to spend much money on this, but i’m so glad i did.
Packaging/appearance
Don't forget to follow the in product packaging instructions, mac users will need to download the driver first.
Competitiveness
If you don't work in clamshell mode and don't need citrix then actually it's a good product and the cheapest one for the features.
I think the above issues would be the same on other more expensive products as well.
