Pros & Cons
Pros
This is an excellent video extender that worked exactly as advertised. I use this in our church, where we run a monitor screen to the front of the stage for our band to use for lyrics cues. This product works fantastic and provides a cheap solution to... Read More

Great buy for $89. They had been manufactured discontinued for several years. Shipped on time.
Much easier to run a cat5 cable than try to squeeze a vga cable through tight holes and runs. Installed it at the back tech booth and has been going strong since.
Cons
Adjusting the unit with the adjustment screw/switch did not clear the ghosting. Power button blinks intermittently and i can't figure out what to do.
Highlights
Quality
I used 100 feet of good quality cat5 cable.

Price
We said no, ordered these, and fixed it for less than $150.
I didn't want to spend $100 for this but did as a last resort and it worked.
A tech company came in a quoted us like $2000 to order the part and fix.
Packaging/appearance
I didn't even have to adjust anything on the receiving box.
Competitiveness
Works perfectly, better than another brand that only lasted 3 weeks.
I tried several other vga extenders, but they would not work in this application.
