Great buy for $89. They had been manufactured discontinued for several years. Shipped on time.
Much easier to run a cat5 cable than try to squeeze a vga cable through tight holes and runs. Installed it at the back tech booth and has been going strong since.
Cons
Adjusting the unit with the adjustment screw/switch did not clear the ghosting. Power button blinks intermittently and i can't figure out what to do.

I've always had good luck with startech products.
After purchasing a competitors device and those failing, i purchased the startech vga to cat 5 devices and they worked great.
The boxes are connected by a cat5 ethernet cable that you supply up to 150m long.
I have a run of cat6 cable that is '75.

By default the eq and gain pots come turned to zero the image will likely be dim if you do not tweak these pots

If you buy a vga extension cable for this use such as the belkin i bought watch out for it having fastening posts that will interfere with the connection to the extender

A hack saw fixed the problem but just be aware

We are using a 24 screen but i dont notice much quality degredation if any
