This is not the kind of cable to use if you are planning to plug and unplug regularly, more for a permanent installation.

I'm glad i found this alternative to other expensive docks.
Same speed as atomos wire that cost lot more.

Peek transfers theoretically can hit 1250mbs but max 10001100mbs are more realistic

Modern laptops often have fast enough bus speeds that you dont need to copy the files onto your computers internal drive to operate on them

In essence you can add 4 tb of ssd storage to a laptop with one of these cables and swap it out easily with others
