Pros
Eric asher's writing is impeccable. The author has a wonderful imagination and pens it well to paper.
Narrator saskia maarle's talented narration & intriguing accent adds greatly to the book’s enjoyment. A rainbow of story arcs, threads of romanctic potental, and shatterings of innocence. The story is full of adventure and fast paced action.
Just lots and lots of other gigantic bugs and spiders. Great characters and action.
Unique and interesting story. Just a really enjoyable story. Both intriguing and odd. The ideas are fresh & new.
An inventive ya fantasy novel with a heavy dash of steampunk. Fun steampunky concepts (such as airships and bionics for a start) are everywhere. A nice blend of fantasy, post apocalypse and steampunk.
Cons
The author has a great imagination, it's just the narrative fails at fully bringing that imagination to fruition. The first 10 chapters are pointless. They add nothing to the plot besides exposition. Asher needs to get a co-writer.

I was given an audible copy of this book am voluntarily reviewing it i also own the kindle edition so i was able to follow along while being read to

The pacing is a bit slow at first so this would be a better choice for strong readers
