Pros

If your windscreen is streaking your windshield wipers then you need to first wash with auto soap your windshield to remove dirt. Don't use steel wool after every print -- this is a once in a few months kind of thing to renew your pei bed.

It's affordable, very course and most importantly when stable keeps rats and other small mammals out of your home. Its a little pricey so use only one piece and keep in a ziplock bag to keep it clean.

Cons

After these steel wool pads get wet they quickly get rusty and they also leave a charcoal-like film. It gets rusted quick. They leave small steel fibers that can get into food or drains and on the surface of fine pans and introduce rust.

The weave of this product is very loose. This makes it much more likely to get a steel-wool splinter in your fingers. There's only half the wool here than there was previously.
