Pros

Huge kudos to design team in that regard. The plastic used is high quality, thick, and pretty scratch resistant.

Only downside is that the armrests are hard as rocks. However, that is easily fixable with aftermarket armrest covers. The padded arm rests swivels to the left and right.

Assembly is quite possibly the easiest thing i've ever done on a piece of furniture. The casters come pre-installed, and everything else snaps into place. First the chair comes pretty much assembled.

Cons

Maybe this chair is super durable. This is a luxury office chair, i already expected these things.

If the armrests aren't centered, be prepared to be jabbed in the forearm by sharp plastic. Pushing the arms out a couple inches forward or to the left or right offers no help ergonomically.

The series 1 feels incredibly cheap. I suspect it won't last more than a year. Other than that, it just feels cheap.

It's not comfortable resting your arms on it for any extended amount of time. Locked upright is very uncomfortable. There are cheaper ones that have more adjustments.

It came in 3 days and was packaged very well.

The series 1 chair came safely packaged and shipped with no physical damage and arrived in one day which was truly awesome!

Packaging/appearance

And 2 mins of that was opening the box.

Just keep the packing material until you are certain.

I think it took more time to unpack it from the box than the literal 2 minutes it took to assemble.

Competitiveness

This list includes prominent brands such as secret lab and herman miller.

The quality doesn’t seem better than my $200 office chair but that chair doesn’t have a 12 year warranty.
