Great ergonomic chair for long periods of sitting and working at a desk. One complaint here is that it's not quite designed for taller or shorter people. The chair is almost infinitely adjustable!

Criterion chair has adjustable lumbar support. Back is thinner and more flexible so it can conform to your back more.

The arms are fully adjustable up/down, forward/backward, and sideways toward your torso. The only thing i do not like too much are the pivoting armrests.

The leap gives me the perfect amount of support and is highly customizable. The leap clearly is less bulky.

Cons

Amazon thin seat cushion. None of the feel the plastic though the seat cushion feeling. I wonder if either amazon is getting duped and selling a knockoff version of the chair.

The lumbar adjustment support is literally a rod of narrow plastic, which you can slide up or down.

Price

If you don't have a chair you're happy with and can afford the price, it is absolutely worth it.

That makes the price a lot easier to justify.

Yes the price of this chair is expensive, but once you've spent a few hours sitting in it you know where your money went!

I think it was an additional $150 which i couldn't justify.

Shipping

It came fully assembled and was delivered on time, into my front entry.

Excellent shipping and packing from office designs.

The tag on my chair and label on the box indicated that the chair was shipped from steelcase a month before it was delivered to my home.

I ordered it on a wednesday and it arrived friday.

Packaging/appearance

Notes:• overall packing: excellent each of the three parts were given the extra care in proper packaging.

I think this may have been from the packing process or from the chair having sat in various warehouses for who knows how long.

I went to purchase a chair at the store and i tried both the herman miller and the steelcase.

After a few days of research i decided to go with this chair compared to other big brands in this price range.
