Pros

This chair is amazing. Exactly as advertised and expected. Could not be happier. Everything that was advertised. Only complaint is that the instructions almost require a magnifying glass to read.

From what i could decipher from steelcase's warranty, all of the major chair components have a 12 year warranty. It is definitely a little pricey for an office chair, but i would say it is worth it if you are trying not to turn into a question mark.

It's comfortable on my numbness-prone *, and i can sit cross-legged comfortably. Like most things, its probably better to test one out in a showroom to find out what works best for your body.

Cons

Big letdown from an otherwise very good chair. The fabric is so slippery that you basically slip out of the chair if sit more towards its front. Uncomfortable, nonadjustable, poor workmanship and quality.

Huge bummer. Now it's effectively useless. Save your money, find a nicer chair for far less, there's plenty of them.

With the upgrade/option, i can raise it higher.

However, the price and the quality do not match my expectations of chairs.

That helped with the decision to purchase.

Price

I know these aren't cheap, but if you are having pain issues, the cost is well worth it.

That may be a fine chair, but quite a few people tell me the lower cost amia is their favorite too.

Make sure to shop around on price-- otherwise, i'm about as pleased at pleased gets.

Packaging/appearance

As a bonus, it came two weeks earlier than originally promised and came already assembled so all i had to do was take it out of the box.

Competitiveness

Which i doubt, because this replaces a (non-adjustable) steelcase chair made in the 1970's or 1980's that's still almost like-n...  Read More
