Pros
The steelcase chair is fantastic. It was delivered fully assembled. All of the major chair components have a 12 year warranty.
The lumbar option is super easy to adjust. The adjustable arms allow me to get right up under my desk. All the adjustable options make this the perfect chair for shorter people.
For $650. In my office it's held up over 4 years of occasional use. It is worth every penny. There's definitely a reason it's so hard to find refurbished ones on sale!
Cons
Big letdown from an otherwise very good chair. The fabric is so slippery that you basically slip out of the chair if sit more towards its front. This chair is so uncomfortable!

It's as high quality as i would expect, and provides sturdy support.
With the upgrade/option, i can raise it higher.
However, the price and the quality do not match my expectations of chairs.
That helped with the decision to purchase.
Price
I know these aren't cheap, but if you are having pain issues, the cost is well worth it.
That may be a fine chair, but quite a few people tell me the lower cost amia is their favorite too.
Make sure to shop around on price-- otherwise, i'm about as pleased at pleased gets.
Packaging/appearance
As a bonus, it came two weeks earlier than originally promised and came already assembled so all i had to do was take it out of the box.

Which i doubt, because this replaces a (non-adjustable) steelcase chair made in the 1970's or 1980's that's still almost like-n... Read More

The only option i really needed beyond the stock chairs here was the ability to raise the chair a bit higher

If you read a bad review my interpretation is this again we are all different and no single chair is going to help everyone or feel the most comfortable
