Quality
I'll admit, the chair was more expensive than i wanted to pay, but i will attest that i am thrilled with the results.
Build quality is exceptional, and the chair weighs a ton.
Build quality a+++comfort a+adjustability a+only negative i can find is that the arm rests move around a little too easy.
With the pandemic and working from home, i am sitting way more than usual.
Price
I don't really look forward to buying a chair for my office and the price gave me pause.
Have gone through my share of low cost ($200-300) chairs, which ultimately fail after 2-3 years.
Competitiveness
Especially when wirecutter recently rated the best office chair of 2021.
So the chairs took a beating and none of them really held up to the price.
Have begun to have a sore back, now working from home in a post-covid world.

However one chair came with the lumbar disks on either side of the chair in the back with the lumbar bar that can be moved up and down and one chair did not come with the lumbar bar

Perhaps steelcase has changed the armrests slightly since those reviews were written

The graphite color is a bit lighter than it appears in amazons pictures at least on my screen

What i think is going on here is these users have really poor back posture and dont realize itwhich is why transitioning to an ergonomic chair is so painful

It will absolutely help posture and back pain but you cant expect to sit in the chair for 8 hours without taking breaks its not a miracle chair

For those on the fence about wanting the 20 lumbar support adjustment you dont need it its just a piece of plastic that doesnt do much
