Pros

The chair is extremely adjustable. The armrests move in all directions smoothly. One complaint is that it's not quite designed for taller or shorter people.

The criterion is the most open and durable chair available. Amazon manages all warranty and damage claims. Steelcase is in full cooperation with amazon and does stand by the standard steelcase warranty.

The criterion chair has adjustable lumbar support. The back is thinner and more flexible so it can conform to your back more. The mesh conforms to your body.

Cons

Amazon thin seat cushion. None of the feel the plastic though the seat cushion feeling. I wonder if either amazon is getting duped and selling a knockoff version of the chair.

Price

That makes the price a lot easier to justify.

Though i knew it would be better than my current chair, i wasn't sure it would be good enough to justify the price.

Shipping

Excellent shipping and packing from office designs.

Also, the chair arrived 3- 5 days early, based on amazon's shipping dates.

Notes:• overall packing: excellent each of the three parts were given the extra care in proper packaging.

Competitiveness

After a few days of research i decided to go with this chair compared to other big brands in this price range.

My previous chair was a maxnomic racer chair.

But i was also concerned it may not be a v2 or it may be a refurb or somehow flawed based on the low price (~$830).
