Not bulky looking - it looks thin, but the foam padding is it's firm and supportive. The cushion is definitely firm when you first get it, but it softens up after a while.

The seat is really small. The armrests are made of plastic. Seat cushioning is hard. The seat cushion is also very thin.

My coccyx bone is already numb, and my day is shot. It creaks when gently moving it. The leaning back motion is jerky, like it is ratcheting back.

I liked it so much that when i had to go back to my office, i bought a second one for there, even though the price had jumped $200.

I'm always price sensitive, but willing to pay for a quality product, which this is.

I did considerable research and decided to go with the best, either steelcase or herman miller, although the prices scared me.
