Pros & Cons
Pros
The steelcase leap is a great place to park your bottom when forced behind a desk. It is unusual to find a chair (or shirt) that is too big for me.
This chair adjusts in every way to provide comfort for the arms, back, and seat. The seat depth is adjustable, which makes it possible to get good lumbar support regardless of your height. This allows you to get the best comfort without sacrificing er... Read More
Adjustable arm rests are great for supporting my elbow to keep my wrists off the desk (carpal tunnel pain) there is no creaking from the chair at all as i move around or lean back.
This chair is supportive, comfortable and cushioning, without being too much of either. It's definitely the firmest chair i've been comfortable in. Nothing goes numb and my lower back has great support.
Cons
The saga the started of non responsive support, our warehouse is impacted by covid, isn't the whole world! I’m not sure what happened here. I'm unsure if other customers are experiencing this product swap.

Highlights
Quality
To my mind, this is about the level of quality you should expect if you're buying a new $350 chair.
Price
This referb is spot on for the price.
Mine did, and the savings were substantial.
The price is pretty much identical, and steelcase will pay return shipping if you don't like it.
I contacted target commercial interiors (one of steelcase's distributors) and the cost of retrofitting the 3d knit seat back would be $190.
Competitiveness
But having never seen a brand-new leap chair, it’s kinda hard to really notice, in my opinion.
But c’mon, it’s a refurb, and it’s about half the regular price!
