I bought a cheap $150 office chair at the time and suffered through the discomfort and back problems that came with it.
Normally a bargain shopper myself, i do believe this is one product that you get what you pay for.
Shipping
I bought the black/black version with prime shipping - so sold, and stocked by amazon.
First of all, this takes a long time to ship and by the time it does, it might be too late.
With amazon, it was going to arrive between 5-7 days since they had it in their warehouse.
The chair i ordered was sold and shipped by amazon.
Packaging/appearance
The leap chair arrived fully assembled (the packaging was actually quite impressive!
) and the packaging protects well against shipping damage and is all cardboard (recyclable) and plastic sheet cover.

Was a great chair but when i sold it i had to spend an hour or two with tweezers picking out hairs that were stuck in the fabric

There are so many aspects of a chair that can go wrong lumbar support that is too far forward or nonadjustable useless neck supports uncomfortable arm supports stuck in place hard seats seat backs that dont come up far enough to sit straight crappy wheels the list goes on and i simply dont feel confident being able to judge all of those things especially while looking at chairs online given my experiences thus far
