Pros & Cons
Pros
The cherry mx * are fantastic switches. The black switches are not clicky, and are quite a bit quieter than the blues.
Works great for pc gaming, never have any lag. Friends and family alike are all surprised when they pick this up and feel its heft.
This keyboard deserves the best review i can possibly give. this keyboard is exactly as big as it needs to be. Otherwise this keyboard is awesome! This pushes the /?
The stock keycaps on the 6gv2 are fine, but a couple of weeks ago i thought that i would try adding some sturdier set of keycaps. It's built like an abrams tank and could double as a personal defense weapon.
A bit pricy but still would recommend. The usb cord coming out of it is very thick and sturdy. It also has a bit of weight to it, which gives it a more durable feel.
Cons
Steelseries' warranty expires after 12 months, and the warranty is only 1 year. The weight of the keyboard makes it impossible to stay in business shipping a 9lb. The keyboard fails for me as a gaming keyboard if i can't adjust the angle at which it s... Read More
The cherry mx black keyswitches are no good. Main issue is that the lettering on the key fades. It is very frustrating when typing in a password.
This is unnecessary. Caveat emptor. Mushy feel, no tactility.
It's also not possible to adjust the tilt of the keyboard. It's just got 4 rubber feet on the bottom, no way to elevate the rear. My fault for not paying attention to the layout.
The right shift key is a * nightmare. The pause/play, skip, and previous music hotkeys all require two keys on the left side of the board pressed at the same time. The angle of this keyboard makes it impossible for me to find the keys accurately.

Price
I picked this up for a steal around $70 and it was worth every penny at that price point.
For a $100+ keyboard this is simply unacceptable.
However, considering the price i believe a one star review is all it deserves.
They sent me some replacement keys for this discontinued at no cost.
