Overall construction and build: 10/10very well constructed with nicely braided wires.
The latest steelseries driver's didn't even have the option that supposedly fixes this issue.
***update 8/26/11so i had the right side of my headsets speaker die out on me, sound stopped working completely.

5/10i am very impressed with this headset, and i definitely recommend it if you can find it on sale below $90.
I ordered this item refurbished, so i got it at a steal for $40ish.
Like i said, in this price range, they are best.

Packaging/appearance
They also came with open air pads that can replace the leatherette ones if you need to hear your surroundings.
In fact it becomes a trouble when you want to pack or also looks kinda bad when you are using it to listen music from your music player.
Competitiveness
Finally - as mentioned above, no other headset can come close to these headsets in this price range.
I have to say that they are much more comfortable than g35 (g35 imo are very tight on your ears and you sweat a lot.

A google search will tell you this is common with usb headsets to download specific drivers that dont exist anymore
