Pros & Cons
Pros
Rgb lighting is as attractive as it looks in the marketing material. The brightness of the rgb is really bright at peak, but you can adjust this in the software. The lights are very cool, with 3 different settings and adjustable brightness.
Volume wheel is plastic but looks milled, nice touch. Quick adjustability from high to low when things aren't normalised. Not too loud or intrusive at all.
I love that it comes with a wrist resting thing which attaches magnetically like some fancy razer keyboards. The detachable wrist rest is a nice touch and so is the wire routers in the back. I do like that it's magnetic and removable though.
The same software handles both devices, which is nice. I have a steal series nova 7, and the same software is pretty good, too.
Keyboard has a nice clicky sound to it. It is hard, not cushioned but it feels nice. I do like the more tactile feel.
Cons
Software and hardware make this nearly unusable. Support for a fatal issue in their software is laughable. They are a gaming peripheral company that makes peripherals that disable themselves in certain games.
Highlights
Quality
The keyboard feels good quality, with a good weight to it.
Super sturdy and has a good weight to it.
Steelseries software is not good, but it's a one time setup & you'll probably never touch it again.
The keyboard is constructed well which is what i bought it for, however i only gave it a one star for gaming as i purchased it ... Read More
Price
I think for £50 you cant go wrong, i sent back 4 keyboards before i was happy with this one.
Overall, this is a great keyboard for gaming for an amazing price hence why i would give it a 9.
You'd be looking to pay ~£100 extra.
I was indecisive about the price which seemed to fluctuate however i got it at a low point so was very happy!
Competitiveness
The condition was brand new, so can recommend nabbing a marketplace deal on this.
