Pros & Cons
Pros
The whisper-quiet switches provide a satisfying typing experience without disturbing others. The keys feel very satisfying and loud and clicky. I wish apex 5 would also come with silent & tactile.
Backlighting works well and is fairly configurable with the steelseries gg application. The media button works well enough. Can setup macros just like the g613.
Cons
Still is a nice product, but the intended use for this shows up its shortcomings. Steelseries loves to use misleading text on their page to convince people to buy inferior products.
Pulled and cleaned keys with no improvement. The keys also feel sticky and awkward to use. Only a few weeks after purchasing it, it started registering key presses when i am not touching it.
The meh:rgb but doesn't sync well with other apps. The only fix is a pc reboot.
Combo steelseries key + f9 to change lighting profiles does not work in this tkl keyboard. The documentation on the keyboard does not indicate any use for the f9 key. The order shown on the keycap is reversed.

Price
Amazing keyboard for this price, would buy it again if i need to
For the price this is probably the best gaming keyboard you can buy for non mechanical.
If you are looking to save some money, this is the next best thing to a mechanical keyboard
The price for it was good and it is a good buy.
Competitiveness
I owned more expensive keyboards by logitech and razer, and i find this one to be on par with them.
After i went through 2 x logitech g613s and their notorious double typing, i decided to just try something cheaper.

Just a heads up it doesnt have any onboard memory so it wont retain your settings unless you have the steelseries software always running you cant just boot it up to load your colourssettings and then close it it will revert to the default rainbow glow if you do at least it always does for me

I suppose for the price point i get it but its still unfortunate that i have to have this software always running in the background it does appear to use minimal resources though

It takes about 23 times as much force to key press it on the right side of the space bar versus the middle or left
