The retractable microphone is a thoughtful addition. The mic is pretty good, but not the best i have ever used. Sound quality and mic quality are both more than adequate for casual or competitive gaming or simple voice chat.

Using it on both ps5, steam deck, and switch thanks to the usb-c dongle. Headphone has spatial audio support, so if your console allows it you can tune these in your console settings if you like the 3d audio in games.

The materials are sturdy, but light weight. The cups are closed but don't make my ears all sweaty.

Steelseries gg app takes forever to load up. Sound is quiet and lacks sharpness and bass. It should never be allowed to get that loud in the first place.
