To be honest i was very disappointed with this headset initially before playing any games with it because i was sitting in my teamspeak server and everyone sounded a lot worse sound quality wise

The main reason i had ordered this headset though is that the microphone quality is generally mentioned as being very good in fact some youtube commentators have even recorded video through the headset and upload it just like that without the need for a standalone microphone

The biggest complaint i always received is that my microphone was very quiet and muffled this is not the case with the siberia it is clear and by default was at a normal volume level no microphone boosting required
