Pros

Another is hard mounted at my front door. From doorbell to stickup and outdoor light camera. Literally a plug in and play device.

The notification for movement on my phone is a big plus. It connects to our alexa to let us know when motion is detected. The picture quality is crystal clear, it has a very wide range of view, the night vision works great, i have no complaints.

Cons

Motion notifications are totally unreliable. They force text messages on you fir 2-step verification. Strange sounds, low voices of people talking, a whimpering child, etc. Could be fooled by using a white towel over my face.

I pay for the yearly subscription and assumed this would save the videos i have "starred" in the app. These cameras lose web connection frequently. Device tends to become unresponsive and be unreachable with no warning that its offline. This company, ... Read More

Even the depth of troubleshooting information found on the ring website is rather simplistic and cook bookish. Ring support is really, really bad! Never buy a ring product again.
