Pros

Blink connects to alexa and works with an app.

Ring cam pulls double duty - if i am away from home during the day i bring it inside so i can monitor the dogs from afar. Another is hard mounted at my front door.

Cons

Ring cameras are useless unless you pay for a monthly subscription. They only capture 30 second clips at a time. They say their wifi is "poor" when it isn't.
