Pros

Another is hard mounted at my front door. From doorbell to stickup and outdoor light camera. Literally a plug in and play device.

The notification for movement on my phone is a big plus. It connects to our alexa to let us know when motion is detected. The picture quality is crystal clear, it has a very wide range of view, the night vision works great, i have no complaints.

Cons

Motion detection and alerts are awful! None of our devices receive notifications. When i get an alert that there's motion and i try to view it too soon it just sits there loading and i have to back out and try again.

I really dislike writing a bad review, but possibly my review and problem description will benefit others. The picture quality is terrible and always hard to see clearly. After disassembly it is impossible to remove moisture from camera lenses.

I find the term ring support to be a total oxymoron. Staff definitely have little to no knowledge in home networking. The apps are slow (even the rapid ring app) never buying a ring product again.

These cameras lose web connection frequently. This company, not only wants you to buy their wifi extender, but they also don’t tell you that your camera is 95% useless unless you also pay for a monthly subscription.
