Pros

Camera video quality is decent overall for the money so i can't complain there. Terrific app and very user-friendly. Daytime videos are generally good.

Motion works flawlessly. Mounted this with the optional ceiling/overhead mount over a detached garage.

Cons

There are hundreds (if not thousands) of negative postings online about this same issue yet ring has not resolved it. You can not reboot any ring device remotely from the app.

Called customer support and spent 30 min troubleshooting this problem with a nice csr. They frequently stop working. You get put into some vicious circle of idiocy over and over with nothing ever getting resoved.

The description of this product leaves much to be desired. This is an injection molding problem, which means it is not limited to me. It makes this thing useless.

The power plug has a 90 elbow on it so you have to drill a gigantic hole to get it thru a wall or ceiling. A complete notch is required to connect the adapter to the power supply cable. This means that the outdoor adapter will not connect to thepower ... Read More

From that distance the connection wasn’t as stable as sitting at home, so i have too deduct from picture quality for the issue.
