The natural hyacinth fiber it’s made of has a lot of give to it. Light poking and prodding hasn’t resulted in any problems. The materials woven are both soft (not stiff and brittle like the kind that poke you) and strong.
It's roomy enough to hold a full set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, and facecloth) it holds all my bottles of lotions and potions. It holds hair products, my mani kit and various lotions.
