So far there is no squeaking at all, and no problems with the cushion.
We like the chair and do not want to return the product.
Put this in our church nursery and it looks beautiful along with the universal area rug i purchased from amazon.

Definitely the best glider in terms of comfort and price.
I'm not confident it would survive more than one child but the price is right.
Competitiveness
Use in combination with a boppy pillow to prevent back aches and neck aches.
Glider is comfortable and less expensive than competing chairs i have found.
