I wouldn't say it's excellent wood quality, but better than something you can probably get at ikea.

The only part that was hard to get together was the bed frame and the only think that i don't like which i didn't realize is that you loose the use of the shelf's after you take apart the crib and turn into a full bed.  Read Less
