Pros

The quality shows in the craftsmanship of this set. These are pricey, but worth the brand and the convenience. Delightful and wonderful set.

The lenox alcott are very shiny, which is different for me. The flatware is heavy and does not rust. Because nickel is more expensive, 18/10 stainless steel products are usually more pricey.

The set is much heavier and sturdier than my oneida pieces. They look beautiful on my table with my stoneware. They have some heft but are not too heavy - just perfect.

It is heavy, elegant, and very durable. The handle is solid, that's a plus. It is extremely sturdy.

Cons

Reviews indicate that there is little to no support from lenox regarding these issues. Irritated with the misrepresentation of these products. French perle, both having negative reviews in regards to same issues.

The addition of nickel to the steel eliminates the majority of the magnetic property of the steel. Water marks are very noticeable. Rusted in less than 2 months (see picture)!
