Pros
This light is rechargeable. It's bright enough i feel it could damage his eyesight if shined in his face up close.
There is no flooding with this light it is a very focused beam. This is as strong a light as any i have used hooked up to the battery of the boats.
Cons
Streamlight unit has two drawbacks which are immediately evident. The cord is in pieces and the cheap plug for the cigerette lighter will not screw back together. Maybe because it's water resistant? Very cheaply made.
Disappointed, but resigned this is just normal nowadays. Buyer beware.
It is now dim with new batteries after using it only a handful of times. The on/off switch requires far too much force to operate. The operating instructions state that the trigger should be pressed one time to turn the light on or off.

He's very pleased with quality of construction, light output & ease of use.
Packaging/appearance
Also is a wonderful light for maintenance when looking for a problem, nothing can hide in the shadows.

Jus a little heavier than i like when using for a long period of time,,the brightness setting i really like.

After contacting streamlite this took a couple of trys to get response via the contact form on their website was informed that they dont sell any internals but directed me to send it in for repair which will be covered under warranty
