Pros
Way brighter and much further projection than sf x300u. Easy to install and insanely bright. Brightness is more than needed in any situation including outdoors. I think it's brighter than my old streamlight tlr 1 hl.
The light is awesome and works to perfection. The light provides a bright light or can be shifted to a strobe-light effect. Removing the pin from rear assembly to convert * light for the pressure pad when using a rifle.
The case is strong, the switches are very ergonomic and easy to use. They are durable as *. Mounts the same as original tlr-1.
Cons
Streamlight is my #1 choice for weapon lights but i have to say i was very disappointed with the quality of this kit. The battery door was broken on arrival and the switch on the back feels really cheap. This one is headed back to them.

I was looking locally for this light that wasn't outrageously priced.
For the price, i think it’s ok.
Packaging/appearance
Looks great on both my glock 47 and m&p 9mm.
2 stars for the company packaging a brown light in a package labeled ’tan’.
Description claims it includes two 3v batteries but mine only came with 1 and the package has a spot for two.
I added a wrap of brown scotch tape around the bezel to protect it.
Competitiveness
They are almost half the price of a x-300, and almost as robust.

The actual light could fit on a rifle or shotgun if the specific weapon has the capability to attach to a rail system

I would recommend the light on a large frame handgun vs small or medium due to the light would likely exceed past the barrel

I own four or five of them and a couple of surefire x300s and a modlite and had a couple of olights
