Go ahead and save yourself a headache and buy a mounting block because the plastic ones that come with it are junk.

Can’t beat the price, super easy to setup.
I was able to score this light on sale for 100$ and it works great with my uses, streamlight always seems to deliver on their products!
Therefore, for the price and included accoutrements streamlight has knocked it out of the park.
But you get what you pay for i suppose!

) amazon customer service sent a replacement flashlight before i could send the flashlight back to streamlight.
Also amazon was great for this purchase, my first package was lost in the mail and they stepped in to send a replacement!

Looks great on my ar15 brighter than i thought for 350 lumens
Half the box of parts in this box i never used.
Comes with remote tape switch (which i don't care for, but nice that it's included).
Competitiveness

I have had a lot of different lights from surefire, streamlight, olight, inova, fenix, etc.
Like i said, only surefire would be the better option.
I don’t think there is a better value light at this quality on the market.

Dont be dissuaded by the lumen count as streamlight put the lumens and candela in all the right places for a well balanced lightweight compact design

I went with this model for 3 reasons one of them being the multi fuel this light takes cr123s aas aaas and various 14500s in all different voltages from 1

Make sure you invest in some rechargeable c123s as the disposable ones get expensive

I have always put surefires on my rifles and streamlights on my pistols but i’m pretty tired of spending 300 on a surefire light and then another couple hundred dollars on a nice pressure switch and a sturdy light mount
