Very good product, i use it for my light as a spare
For the price of a charger or battery replacement for the survivor i am really happy with this battery cage.
The old nicad survivor charger won't work with the new insert.
I found one was already included with the light so now have a spare one.

I'm now able to use 4 aa batteries instead of the rechargable ones that wouldn't hold a charge anymore.

Just stick 4 aas in it and toss it in your bag in case your rechargeable doesnt last
