Rechargeable battery is a must. The battery requires 5 hrs to fully charge but the usb micro charger is welcome over regular lithium non-rechargeables.

The grip and toughness are excellent. It's like a car headlight for your pocket. Polymer build with internal aluminum sleeve and head construction. Tempered glass lens.

This is my favorite flashlight out of all i've had, including an old surefire g2x. It is well made and works flawlessly. Still works as well as fresh outta the box.

Cons

Usually their quality is inline with the cost however this has obviously changed. It was not cross threaded. Im guessing the thought behind it is to prevent accidentally turning it on. The light starts to flicker and you have to tap it to quit.

I got it with the rechargeable 18650, first time i’ve seen one like that were you plug right into the battery to charge.

Price

This one is hard to beat, especially at the price.

Packaging/appearance

The light fits snugly into the molded holster and there's no worry of it popping out.

You do get better runtime out of the 18650’s.

Competitiveness

I have about a half dozen streamlight flashlights and they've all been outstanding.

As with all streamlight products, it is well made and works flawlessly.
