Very strong very sturdy very pleased brill product.
For a discount roof rack i have to say i'm impressed with the longevity of this product.
I bought these just before lock down happened with the intention if using them in summer 2020 to go on holiday.
I used my socket set to tighten them up more than i could with the allen key just to be safe.
Competitiveness
'they fit on my vw golf estate mk7 perfectly.
I was sceptical of buying these at first but they cost less than 25% of the price of the thule bars i had previously.

The allen key tightening isnt very goodeasyquick to use

The only niggle is that they are adjusted with an allen key which is supplied but it isnt long enough to allow it to be rotated fully and it is also difficult to engage

Ordered this for a ford kuga 2014 bit it was too short

When not under load i hadnt had any issues and had tightened them up with the supplied allen key
