I ordered 2 of these for my wife's 2005 scion tc and and they are very strong.
I replaced both liftgate struts in my wife's scion tc in less than 10 minutes.
If you don't hang onto the hatch they'll raise it up a little too aggressively and hard.

It was an easy install one simple tip i must add is that you should remove the top part first then the bottom

Additionally when you open this package up and feel concerned because the attachable parts are facing the wrong direction dont fret
