It detects ac wires up to 2 deep. It also detects copper pipes. Performance is better than expected and exceeded that of a zircon unit. Detects wooden uprights, metal and wiring.

Really easy to use and calibrate. Gives clear repeatable results for stud finding.

Doesn't detect and also falsley detects wood behind plasterboard. Recalibrating it makes no difference as it still detects everything to be live electrics and beeps constantly.

Useless - doesn't work. Working inaccurately for such a devise is dangerous.

As much as i would like to say this is great, it isn't. Do yourself a favour and save your money. It's better buying a strong magnet and taking your chances than replying in this pile of *. This is rubbish.
