This unit done eactly what is says found the studs and cables with ease

I also tested it on the same walls where there were no wires or studs but in the vicinity of other metal plates or switches on the wall to see how sensitive the device is

As for sensitivity you have to use judgement as when it came within about 2 inches of a metallic object on the wall surface it started beepingsignalling which is to be expected i guess

Seems pretty accurate feels pretty cheap but it was cheap
