Pros
Takes a bit to get the hang of calibrating it. Can prevent a lot of headaches, like hammering a nail right into a pipe. Lets me drill/mount to the center of studs which gives me peace of mind especially with heavier items.
Cons
Very inconsistent readings. Finds nails, but not the studs themselves.

Found myself from within the wall therefore it works

It did have a problem identifying 2 studs that were about 3 inches apart
