Pros
An inexpensive means of avoiding a * accident. Delivered in sturdy packaging. Well pleased with product.
Really easy to use and calibrate. Gives clear repeatable results for stud finding. Small, compact and lightweight.
Performance is better than expected and exceeded that of a zircon unit that i had borrowed which was much more expensive. It detects ac wires up to 2 deep. Detects wooden uprights, metal and wiring. Supplied with 9v battery.
Cons
This detector is pants. It's better buying a strong magnet and taking your chances than replying in this pile of *. This is rubbish.
Doesn't detect and also falsley detects wood behind plasterboard. Recalibrating it makes no difference as it still detects everything to be live electrics. Can't pick up any of the studs, or any wiring.
Very unreliable, stopped working after 7 months or so. Probably was affected by my wifi or had a faulty unit.

Don’t really trust the electric cable finder all the time as a couple of times it has given cables where i know 100 there isn’t any
