Even though it is grained, it doesn't affect drafting process.

Black is not my favorite color but for price it was worth it.

Surface is a little bit grained which will prevent laptop sliding

I found only two cons the height adjustment is not fast and super easy you need to unscrew handles on both sides adjust and then tighten also the name of the sellers site is visible and nothing you can do about it

I wish the mechanism to tilt was an easy pull out handle rather than having to unscrew both to move it
