Pros & Cons
Pros
Stone is flat and pretty easy to use. Case for them is well designed so that the fine grit stone soaks (upside down) while using the medium grit. Comes with what i think is a flattening stone for resurfacing the sharpening stone.
Cons
All instructions are in japanese. Arrived with a chipped corner on the blue stone.
Highlights
Quality
I’ve always had quality knives and have been using stones for years to sharpen them.
It was expensive and it did a fair job but i was disappointed by the feel and not happy with the sharpness.
Price
Overall great value for a great price.
Shipping
First one came broken, amazon replaced with next day shipping.
Packaging/appearance
I opened up the great packaging and sharpened two knives.
Competitiveness
It is a very nice wet stone, i was able to get a wustoff chef knife to barely shaving sharp.
