The build quality is great and the color works well for girls or boys.
Overall i'm really happy with this product.
So for the seat alone i thought it was a good product.
The design itself looks more modern, the back of the seat itself looks more streamlined with the opening.
Competitiveness
It has a little more room in the leg and thigh area than a bumbo.
I feel like i've gotten more use of this than our bumbo since there is a toy bar.

I guess its not permanently attached so you can take it off easily but it doesnt even click in or anything it just sits on top of the little slots

You can use the cushion for support padding when putting a younger infant in the seat when they cant sit up yet by themselves

My reasoning for 4 stars is to put it together you have to screw these screws into the tiniest and weirdest spots

I would have paid extra for it to come put together fully and you just have to add the toys yourself
