Pros

This bannister mounting kit was purchased in order to safely install an additional toddler gate at the bottom of the stairs to the 2nd floor. Note (photo) the bannisters in this case is a wrought iron railing. Great for our large stair banisters.

You just have to be mindful on where you install the zip ties and where your baby gate needs to screw into the post. Care must be taken, however, during the placement and tightening of the enclosed straps and strap locking guides.

Seems very sturdy. Very sturdy and good quality. All around pleased. Very nice product, very strong and safe.

Baby gate came with a missing part and the strap broke after just three months. We broke 2 screws trying to attach the wood piece, they’re the screws that came with it. The instructions specifically say not to tighten it too much, but i don't think it... Read More

Doesn't seem very environmentally friendly. Buyer beware; look for other products.

The parts is shown in the manual as part of the included items are missing. Very disappointing. Should be able to get a refund or parts.
