Pros & Cons
Pros
Used to close off access to stairway to the basement. It's attractive with the metal and wood door mix and the curved door. Our door opening is 59 inches & the gate is perfect!
Easy to install, looks stylish and isn’t bulky for something that’s so sturdy. Solide, esthétique, et s'adapte bien à un corridor large and non standardisé.
The gate is made very well - wood and metal in a classy combination. It's very sturdy, and would take an extremely hard kick (maybe) or concerted effort to knock down. This gate is sturdy!
Cons
The bottom hinge pin on the gate has broken, highlighting how flimsy this gate is. The plastic suffers from stress and snaps. Would never recommend for a human child, that's for sure!
Easy enough to install but gate cannot be latched as there is 2 inches of space between the gate and the latch. Neither adjustment heads fit screw holes nor fixing round head fixes the screw. Need two hands and a foot to engage the lock.

Quality

Price
Anyhow i highly recommend this gate, a little bit more $$$ but i'm fine with that as long as the product is good then it's wort... Read More
Shipping
Too bad it was shipped with damage.
And it was shipped that way as they put a zip tie around a piece of foam where the wood scraped.
Packaging/appearance
Box looked like it’s been through a few lifecycles and there were a number of superficial scratches on the metal grills.
