Pros
It is stylish and functional and affordable. Its so sturdy and easy to assemble. We love it and now our baby can wonder around freely without us jumping to catch him before the stairs. Very well made, sturdy.
This is on purpose, it insures that there is outward tension against walls and not gate. Adjusts well in any doorway without screw holes.
Cons
The lattice section of the gate is a very flimsy plastic. Cheap horribly built and not functional.

My hubby got this up in less then hr he use zipties just for extra protection not needed but we did not want to drill in stairs

Just a detail to consider the screws to fix to the walls are not fixed in the holes so they will fall off when taken off or put in storage

We also like the design but originally i thought the whole gate was metal but the lattice on the door is actually plastic
