Pros

It looks nice, sturdy and serves it purpose. Design is to enhance sturdiness, which it does.

Latching mechanism is good because it clicks in at top & bottom it seems flimsy but it’s actually pretty strong. Many reviewers mention it not closing.

The originally purchased version of this gate is up in the entrance to the doctor's office in our veterinary clinic. Other than this, the features of the gate are fantastic! The gate is almost perfect for our needs.

Cons

If you don't intend to use this product for a wider opening, then disregard this review. We have a pit bull and two lab mixes and they have all figured out that if they jiggle the gate lock enough it will just pop open. Maybe our latch is defective?

Seems so far to be worth the price.

Worth the money, it’s solved a lot of issues for us already.

I don’t know what the deal was, and with kids, this isn’t something i can spend time on trying to make right.

Should be $10 or $20 cheaper imo.
