Not a seamless task at all. It is rigid and not easy. Needless to say just today i purchased another one from another brand, my friend has it and the entire fabric comes off so easily.

The tray is removable, but the chair itself is all one piece. My granddaughter ends up slouched in the chair because there's little structure to the chair. The sides are so low down & flimsy, it's not safe for her to sit in unattended.
