Sumo ice cream containers have a rugged double wall construction. The jumbo size is fantastic for my needs. I put 2 rubber bands around the container before putting it into the freezer so that the lid wouldn't fly off. I like them, though the lid seal... Read More

The elongated shape makes it real easy to scoop. Nice long scoops even when the ice cream is super hard straight from the freezer. The scooper fits perfectly in the container when serving.

Cons

It's a great idea that does not work. It looks nice, but is ridiculously over-priced. Very frustrating purchase.

Lids don't fasten in place, so they slide off easily. The rim, the edge on which the lid sits, is impossible to keep ice cream out of. The lightest of touches removes the lid.

It takes super strength to pry the double plastic apart for hand washing. The liner needs to be pried apart with a lot of force or they don't move.

Would love to be able to tell them how unhappy i am with this product.

Later i realized the problem was pre freezing the containers with the 3 pieces separated before making ice cream.
