Once i figured out the design law and corrected it i have had not problems with the saw the problem lies in the tension adjustment mechanism and simply requires a backup nut or spacer to keep the tensioning rod from flexing up and down causing the pin to slip out of it hole in the chain bar plate and kicking the chain off

Being plugin electric theres less maintenance to worry about and no battery to keep charged

Also know that the machine doesnt come with barchain oil in the box

I have several chainsaws but my sunjoe is my goto saw unless where i need to cut electricity is not available
