Pros

The rod is sturdy, strong, and can hold a lot of weight. Only complaint is the clips on second rod are plastic. Very sturdy and have had lots of compliments on them.

Cons

Polished pewter when arrived is black. However it has a rough texture making it hard to slide drapes. The finish is about as rough as 40-60 grit sand paper. The material is not as stable or sturdy as others for heavier curtains/ drapees.

This rod is very hard to install. Does not reduce to 83 inches too long for my patio doors.

Looks great in our new home and fit right in to the rustic theme we had going in the house.

It took 4 black out curtains and 6 sheers to cover the window, but its covered now, and it's beautiful.
